 MEMBERSHIP QUALIFICATION
  1. A university Degree or its equivalent in Career, Professional, Military or Business Lines.
  2. Minimum age of 30 years but no maximum age at the point of entry for both genders.
  3. Having attained minimum of Full Manager position in recognized private sector institution or Deputy Director in the Public Service or Own Business in recognized sector.
  4. Bonafide Ibadan Indigene with confirmed family background on Ibadanland.

 

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

In addition to the fact that All Subscriptions paid by you will be returned Dead or Alive and the pride of being part - owner of some business outfits on Ibadanland, you still have these Ten (10) Distinct Benefits as a Member of IWA Group.

1) Business Loan of up to Five (5) times your Accumulated Project Fund (T&C apply).

2) Target of at least 25% Return on your Project Fund Investment on Annual Basis.

3) Return of your Accumulated Project Fund on Demand, Death or Emergency (T&C apply).

4) Impressive Return on your Share Capital, Venture Capital, Seed Capital or Patient Loan.

5) Annual Bonus to all Members including those who pay Congress Fee only.

6) Payment of N3.0m Capital Sum on Death below age 70.

7) Return of all Congress Fees paid from the date of joining on death after age 70.

8) Payment of N2.0m Capital Sum on Certified Permanent Disability due to Accident.

9) Opportunity for full or part time engagement by the Group even while in retirement.

10) Celebration of your person by the Group for outstanding No. 1 position at Traditional, Local, State, National or International Levels.

CATEGORIES OF MEMBERS AND ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION

We have 4 Categories:- Congress Member, Project Member, Patron Member and Veteran Member.

  1. Congress Member -

N90,000.00 divided into Ibadan Affairs (15%), Life Assurance  (40%), Management Fee (10%), Secretariat Building (20%) and Annual Conference (15%).

  1. Project Member -

N360,000.00 divided into the 5 Components under Congress Member for N90,000 and the Balance N270,000.00 as Project Fund (75%). You can contribute multiples of the Project Fund in a year and you are free to skip the Project Fund in any year.

  1. Project Patron Member

Financially sound Ibadan Indigene to be contacted on need-basis in addition to being a Listed IWA Member for Seed Capital, Venture Capital, Share Capital or Contribution towards any Legacy Project to be retained or established on Ibadanland under his open or confidential name.

The Project Patron Member Category is a group of Ibadan Indigenes with high financial standing ready to provide financial backing for any project that may be of benefit to Ibadanland. Such persons can also be existing Congress or Project Members and they will dominate the Adebisi Idikan Section of the Group.

Under this heading Members will be required to:-

  1. i) Provide Trust Fund – Seed Capital for the Members’ desired project for Ibadanland.

Amount of Trust FundMinimum of N1.0M (One Million Naira).

Return Date of the Trust Fund – At the discretion of the Donor but not earlier than 5 years.

Project to execute with the Fund – At the discretion of the Donor but permissible Social or Business Project, e.g. Food Security, Youth Empowerment, Real Estate, Infrastructure, etc.

  1. ii) Provide Share Capital – Be a Shareholder in one of the Group’s Project Companies with the proviso that such a person must be a Regular Member of IWA Group.

Minimum Participation – N1.0M (One Million Naira) only.

Minimum Participation for a seat on the Board in 2025/2026 – Holding Company – N5.0M            -

Cell Company – N2.0M

Remarks – Target is at least 25% Return on Members Investment.

iii) Provide Venture Capital – Provide Capital solely on Joint-Venture basis with our Group on identified Build, Operate and Transfer (B.O.T.) Projects.

Amount of Participation – The Bill of Quantity (BoQ) on the selected Project.

Transfer of Project – As per Agreement but after realization of your Capital with Profits.

  1. iv) Provide Voluntary Donation / Grant – This is for identified Prime Ibadan Indigenes who are contacted regularly to provide Funds and Contacts for Identified Needs of Ibadanland like Positions, Scholarships, Job Placement, Infrastructure, Disaster Management, etc.

 

  1. Veteran Member

These are Ibadan Indigenes who agree to Identify with IWA Group but not as Regular Members of any of the three (3) Membership Categories listed above.

IWA MEMBERSHIP SECTIONS

All Members of IWA Group are further divided into one (1) or combination of the following sections:-

 

Giwa Sanusi Adebisi Idikan Section:-

This is for Members who have strong financial strength and are committed to Financing IWA Business Projects at any time.    

                                        

Balogun Salami Agbaje Section:-

This is for Members qualified and committed to Managing on full or part time basis the Businesses created individually or by the Group.

 

Hon. Adegoke Adelabu Section:-

This is for Members who are committed to Protecting Ibadan Interest in All Areas of Concern. This Section is also to generate Donations, Business Opportunities and Influence for IWA Members and Ibadanland.

REMUNERATIONS
  1. a) Salary and Emoluments

The remuneration of the Group’s Management Team shall be by way of Salaries, Emoluments or Allowances for handling the Affairs or Business Projects of the Group on full / part time basis.

  1. b) Promoter’s/Founder’s Fee

This shall be 5% of the Net Profit paid on Annual basis to the Visioner Manager(s) of a Business Outfit from the profit of his/her initiated and full time-managed Business outfit.

  1. c) Directors Emoluments

Benefits like Seating Allowance, Directors Fee and other Modest Allowances shall accrue to Members who serve on the Boards of the various Business Outfits of the Group.

  1. d) Dividends

This shall accrue from the Profit of each Company in which a Member is a Shareholder.

  1. e) Ibadan Project Fund

This shall be 50% of the Retained Profit from each Business and shall be deployed towards further advancement of Ibadan Economy. 

  1. f) Annual Bonus

This shall be 5% of the Total Net Profit made from all the Endeavours of the Group and paid to all Members including Congress Members and Staff.
